About this Event
Jarrow & Goodman is pleased to present a compelling exhibition featuring a diverse group of exceptional women artists, transcending generations, themes, concepts, and media, with an eclectic mix of artistic visions. Building upon the success of the original "A Woman's Perspective" exhibition held at MRG Fine Art in Sherman Oaks in 2017, this reimagined showcase continues the vital dialogue about female artistic expression and introduces new voices to the conversation.
The exhibition is once again curated by Michael Goodman, who brings his dedication to championing women artists from the original 2017 exhibition to this expanded presentation. This event is made possible through his collaboration with Jarrow Rogovin, whose passion for supporting female artists has been instrumental in bringing this reimagined showcase to life.
Together, they have worked to create an exhibition that not only celebrates the depth and diversity of female artistic expression but also fosters a supportive community of artists.
The exhibition demonstrates the varied female perspective, yet united by common threads: the mystery of nature, spirituality, notions of beauty; healing of past trauma; relationships and family, and social-political themes.
The artists' works relate strongly to their personal experiences of the world and the question of what insights can arise from experience. The juxtaposition of artists represents a universe of multiple ideas, perspectives, and styles.
The ultimate goal of the exhibition is to inspire and empower other women by cultivating a community of female artists who motivate, support, and uplift not only their peers in the art world but also women in all walks of life as they pursue their creative aspirations and embrace their fullest self-expression.
