About this Event
A Woman is a School, by Slow Factory founder, Céline Semaan is the first book in Slow Factory's Book for Collective Liberation book imprint. We're excited to share that it has recently crossed the 3,000 book sale milestone in only three months time, and is currently being translated to French.
We want to gather and celebrate this milestone together, and ask for your support in growing Books for Collective Liberation as an independent imprint. For 2025, we are publishing two new books (already in the works), and translating them to more languages — the goal of uplifting stories of the Global Majority and creating our own media culture remains at the center. Our goal is $25,000 to support the production of the new season.
We invite you to purchase tickets as either general admission, a patron, or partner for Books for Collective Liberation, or to make a custom donation here.
