The popular Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series will continue with a live holiday-themed performance featuring Grammy Award-winning country singer Kathy Mattea.
Kathy Mattea and her talented band, which is comprised of some of Nashville’s top musicians, will present a stellar holiday music program defined by warm, soulful vocals and skillful arrangements. This talented artist will offer a fresh take on a variety of holiday songs, from beloved traditional favorites to her iconic rendition of “Mary, Did You Know?” as well as selections from her Grammy Award-winning album Good News and acclaimed Joy for Christmas album.
Recognized by The Washington Post as “one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters,” Kathy Mattea has built a remarkable 40-year career in country, bluegrass and folk music. To date, she has earned two Grammy Awards and four Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and has released four #1 country hits, five gold albums and a platinum greatest hits collection.
The Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series is an ongoing partnership between the Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District that is designed to expand year-round live music options for Savannah-area residents and visitors.
General admission tickets are $55 in advance and at the door. Tickets are currently available at savannahmusicfestival.org or Ticketmaster. Please note this is a seated event.
