Winter invites us inward—a season of quiet reflection and clarity. In this workshop, we embrace the stillness and spaciousness of colder months to deepen our connection between inner sensation and outer expression, allowing the season's introspective quality to inform our movement practice. 🪷
Methodology | What to Expect 🤗
This workshop weaves together artistry, discipline, and nurturing support through mindful movement. Session includes:
- Foundational work: Warm-up, alignment, conditioning, stretching, technique, and flow 💕
- Exploratory practice: Improvisation and choreography that investigates how winter's qualities—stillness, contraction, reflection—shape our creative process 🧿
- Integration: Closing with journaling and tea discussion to distill the experience 📔🫖
All levels are welcome. Whether you're new to embodied movement or have years of experience, you'll find space to explore and challenge at your own pace.

Winter transforms our bodies. Cold constricts tissues, rounds shoulders, and shortens breath. Joints stiffen, fascia densifies, range of motion compresses—challenging both physical freedom and creative expression. This workshop provides attention to detail: generates internal heat to soften rigidity, mobilizes stiff joints, lengthens tight hips and shoulders, and restores fluidity. As we physically release, we unlock creative pathways: freed bodies enable bolder movement, open breath deepens artistic expression, and restored flow reconnects us to a spontaneous dance. 💃🕺
