Mandi Stark - Host
Mandi Stark is a documentary filmmaker and wildlife cinematographer known for her work on major nature productions. Mandi has filmed everything from bears in British Columbia and wolves in the Highlands of Ethiopia to snow geese in Missouri and sandhill cranes in Nebraska, for shows such as BBC One’s Dynasties 2 and The Hunt, Netflix’s Our Planet, and DisneyNature’s Bears.
Gordon Buchanan
For 30 years, wildlife filmmaker and presenter Gordon Buchanan has been leading daring expeditions and pushing the boundaries to raise awareness of the world’s most endangered species and habitats. Best known for his powerful storytelling and deep commitment to conservation, Gordon has contributed to countless award-winning wildlife films and documentaries.
Doug Allan
Anybody who has enjoyed BBC series such as Ocean Giants and Planet Earth will have seen and marvelled at the quality of Doug Allan’s work. From scenes shot on the dizzying heights of Mount Everest to close-ups of killer whales hunting in Antarctica, Doug Allan has provided us with some of the most memorable wildlife images ever captured. As Sir David Attenborough says, “Wildlife cameramen don’t come much more special than Doug.”
Libby Penman
Libby is an award-winning wildlife filmmaker, camera operator, and magnetic presenter known for her fresh and fearless approach to environmental storytelling. From ice climbing on national TV to investigating body image with Love Island star Anton Danyluk, Libby is a dynamic presence both behind and in front of the camera. Libby Penman has made appearances on Landward, Winterwatch and Springwatch. She has also fronted two episodes of the wildlife conservation BBC show Back to the Brink as well as BBC Scotland’s The Adventure Show.
