A Walk Round Fountains Abbey

Join Mike Bevington for this illustrated talk. Find out how, why and when the abbey was established and the use and purpose of some of the rooms. Mike will also be discussing the life of the choir monks and lay brothers who lived there and how Henry VIII became involved and subsequently why, when and how he closed the abbey.
