About this Event

Starting across from Jackson Square, participants will travel through time and down the Mississippi River, learning about the city’s history with water. The tour describes how water has shaped the food, music, and culture of New Orleans, as well as the city’s future through the impacts of climate change. The tour also includes watering hole stops where we take river diversions into topics of cancer alley, coastal degradation, and restoration.
