
The Di Gasn Trio and the singer of Yiddish songs Vira Lozinsky combine in their show Yiddish song and melody – both happy and sad – created in the alleys of the shtetl with East European and Israeli folklore.
Vira Lozinsky born in Moldova and now living in Israel is one of the world’s major performers of Yiddish song. She brings to the stage a unique combination of age-old Yiddish melodies and jazz folk and world music. In her performances in Israel and around the world she enlivens Yiddish language and song and connects many different types of audiences with living and breathing Jewish traditions.
Di Gasn Trio (Yiddish for “street trio”) are a popular joyful group that bring new and original Israeli musical styles into klezmer Balkan and folk music.
