A visit to the Chester Beatty Library: a new tour
A visit to one of the finest collections of printed and hand-illuminated art treasures in the world: this special new tour features a personal selection of highlights, ranging from richly-illuminated, medieval Christian manuscripts, bibles and lectionaries, through steel plate engravings from the court and a. Chinese war-lord emperor, to several exquisite examples of illuminated poetry, calligraphy and painted miniatures hailing from the Arabic and Persian traditions.
