About Cookie Classes with Busy B's
This class is super beginner friendly, so it's perfect whether you are just looking for something fun to do or if you want to get into the very fun hobby of cookie-ing! If you have limited experiences with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to win those gingerbread house contests come Christmas time, this is the class for you!
During class, I will walk you through the decorating steps for a set of cookies that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve finished icing them!
I'll bring everything you will need to enjoy the class - cookies, icing, sprinkles, and boxes to take your awesome creations home in - all that's missing is YOU!

Order an extra cookie kit and take the class home with you to teach your kiddos or practice yourself a second time! Take home kits come with everything you used in class as well as an email with the class PowerPoint so you can follow the step-by-step instructions from home!
How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I'd recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home.

What will I be doing in the in-person class?
Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie tips and decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you get to take home with you that day.
Do I need to know how to bake?
Nope! I bring all the cookies baked and ready to go. As part of the class, you'll get to take home the recipe for them so you can try your hand at baking them later on your own!
What will we learn in class?
You’ll learn the ins and outs of royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, what different tools are used for cookie techniques, and tricks of the trade like how to fill piping bags (believe me, it’s harder than it looks). You’ll also learn some different decorating techniques like outlining, wet-on-wet, pressure piping and writing. The techniques may vary depending on the class/set and can be customized to your needs.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including my rather tasty sugar cookies. All you need to do is show up and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.
What will I bring home?
By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24-48 hours (if they last that long) in their own box. You'll also get to take home the recipies for the cookies and icing we used in class and maybe even an extra surprise goodie! And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!
Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?
You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! Most classes are limited to a total of 15 seats per class, so definitely sign up ASAP, especially if you have a group of people you want to attend with!

I signed up for a class but can't make it?
*sad face* I totally understand that life happens so that’s why I allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. And better yet - you can use your credit to take another class down the road. If all else fails, you can always transfer your spot to a friend though (what a nice friend you are).
Allergens: Eggs, gluten, and nuts are present in the kitchen used to bake these cookies and icing. Please consider your allergies before registering.
Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your Eventbrite fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund fees. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, you'll receive a refund less the Eventbrite fee - since I don't get this back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless if you show up or cancel. :( *sad face*
