Bioplastics from the Heart - A Valentine's Day Open Studio

Looking for a sustainable way to get crafty this Valentine’s Day with a mimosa in hand? Have you taken any of our bioplastics classes, or have you learned about bioplastics in another setting?

This open studio session gives you hands-on time to mix, mold, and test your own bioplastic creations - love day inspired!

You’ll have access to a variety of natural ingredients and creative tools to mix and mold bioplastics - experimenting with textures, colors, and shapes to craft something unique.

You have the option to bring your own silicone mold or other additions (like dried flowers, onion skins, spices, or glitter)

What’s Included:

A variety of bioplastic ingredients and additives
Molds, mixing tools, and heating equipment
Time and space to experiment freely with recipes you’ve learned (or new ones!)

Note: There will be no instruction time other than a quick overview of safely handling materials with some recipes. Participants will have the full amount of time to make creations & enjoy a mimosa or two!
