Unforgettable Dinner & Show experience with international award-winning Barbra Streisand impersonator, Sharon Owens! Sharon has been recreating the sound and style of Streisand for over 25 years, beginning her career as a Streisand Tribute for the multi-million dollar production show Legends in Concert!Voted Best Tribute Show of Las Vegas, her award winning show ran for 15 years in succession on the Las Vegas Strip! Her uncanny resemblance in both voice and looks propelled her career to the status of headlining in her own show “Barbra and Frank, The Concert That Never Was”. In their 18th year running, the show can still be seen in hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas strip. Sharon’s tribute to Barbra has won national competitions both on Fox TV called “Performing As...” as well as making it to the finals of the ABC hit show “The Next Best Thing”. She has performed for Access Hollywood, Extra, been seen in People magazine and TV guide as one of the best “impersonators” in the world. Sharon spent a 6 week engagement on the West End London selling out 32 shows to a very pleased and impressed critical London theater audience. Also she has toured Australia, Canada, Holland, Belgium, Israel, Hong Kong, as well all 50 states in the US!
Sharon’s credits include European tours, headlining aboard Crystal Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Princess & Norwegian Cruise Line, the Queen Mary as well as performances with many symphony orchestras throughout North America and Canada. She has won numerous awards as well as being selected for the Vegas Entertainment Living Legends Award for Excellence in Entertainment. Sharon’s credentials, collectively and/or individually include starring in major production shows, headlining on the Las Vegas Strip and internationally; appearances on numerous television shows as special guests including the Today Show both in Australia and London; featured appearances in Reality TV and Tears of a King. Numerous starring roles in equity theater; special appearances at professional sporting events, (National Anthem); performing/recording for major corporations as Disney, Ford, Macys and Busch Gardens.
Sharon's incredible voice does mimic the sound of the incomparable Streisand style yet her voice as a solo artist, has a style all her own. She masters the American Songbook as well as sings her favorite standards of all time. She has her Master’s degree from Chapman University and a BA from the University of South Florida. College-educated, world-traveler and a veteran of the entertainment business, Sharon Owens' `Enchanted Evening with Barbra” will bring back “Memories” and be an audience favourite for your series and audiences.
