A Journey Interrupted: A Civil War Incident in Williamson County

This presentation will take the audience on a journey from Williamson County, Texas, to the battlefields of of the American Civil War . . . and back again. By the summer of 1863, one group of these locals were done with the war, the Confederacy, and all the related the issues. They made a break for Mexico. Then, fate intervened.

Come learn the rest of this remarkable tale that illustrates just how bad the Civil War became, even on the remote Texas frontier.
