A Toast to Education

Join the By Degrees Foundation at Chandelier on Tuesday, November 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating local education champions and investing in the future of Des Moines' youth.

This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to mingle with like-minded individuals who share a passion for learning. Enjoy delicious drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres, great music, and engaging conversations all while contributing to a good cause.

As part of the evening, By Degrees will present two special awards:

Community Leader Award – Honoring a central Iowa leader who has significantly advanced the lives of children through advocacy, volunteerism, public policy, philanthropy, or their professional work.

Educator Award – Recognizing a transformative educator at Findley Elementary, Harding Middle, or North High School, where By Degrees provides programming. Nominations are accepted from current and former students of these schools.
