About this Event

Be one of the first to receive a copy of this healing collection! Guests are invited to ask questions, there will be a reading of select poems from the book and everyone who purchases on this day will have their book personally signed!

a third wind includes work that expands across almost a decade, from a 17 year old version of myself to the 25-26 year old that organized the poetry for publishing. it was a love letter that i began writing to myself long before i knew what love was. the collection contains 3 sections that tell a story of the cycles that we have the potential to move back and forth through in our healing journeys: 1) discernment, 2) acceptance, and 3) transcendence.

discernment is about being in a place that lacks it without even knowing; it's about not realizing that there is another way to live and think and exist.

acceptance is a place of knowing and gaining the ability to call out my behavior even while in the midst of trying to understand how to unlearn the patterns and thought process that brought me to this point. It's loving myself through the process.

transcendence is a special place that is not about healing being complete, but about the unhealthy patterns from the past no longer being a hinderance. It's an honest place where I no longer feel hopeless, even as I still experience the full range of my emotions.
