Come and join us for "A Taste of Tai Chi", Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Innisfail United Church (4720-48 Ave., Innisfail)If you're curious about Tai Chi, this class offers a wonderful opportunity to explore this ancient Chinese internal art. You might just discover a new lifelong passion!
A Taste of Tai Chi will focus on introducing the first 17 moves of the Tai Chi set, and more if time allows.
The full 108 move set will be demonstrated as part of this class.
Bring flat-soled indoor shoes and wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move.
We will have short breaks during the day and a short break for lunch. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle. Tea will be provided during breaks.

Non-members who would like to continue receiving instruction after the class may join the beginner class for the month of October for no additional charge. The weekly class will be at the same point in the set as what you will learn up to in this class, making for a seamless transition if you've enjoyed yourself and want to pursue this art.
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese exercise system that coordinates the movement of the body for health improvement, cultivating the mind through meditation and the application of force as a martial Art.
The Canadian Tai Chi Academy (founded in 2006) is a national, not-for-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to the teaching of the Chinese internal arts for health as passed on to us by the late Master Moy Lin-Shin (1931-1998). The Academy is 100% operated by volunteer instructors, officers, and members.
