Join us on Saturday, February 1 at Lovestruck Books for an evening of literature, and delightful pairings celebrating the launch of Comedic Timing, the debut book from author, Upasna Barath! This unique event will blend the art of storytelling with the flavors of carefully curated wine tastings adding even more spice to the romantic reading.
Upsana will read three selected sections from her new book, each paired with a special tasting. As you enjoy these readings, our host will invite you to savor these hand picked wines with an explanation on how the chosen sample complements the themes, tone, and spirit of each passage.
The evening will also feature an introduction from the host, opportunities for mingling, shopping, and a chance to get your book signed by Upasna herself.
EVENT DETAILS:
- 6:30 PM: Doors Open, Welcome In!
Find a seat, grab a pre-event drink at the bar and get ready to dive into the discussion. - 7:00 PM: Comedic Timing & Tastings
Our host will guide listeners through three tastings corresponding with three scenes read by Upsana. The last 15 minutes will be open for listener questions. - 8:00 PM: Signatures and Snapping Pics
Line up and get excited for a hello, book signing and photo opp with Upsana. - Through 9:00 PM
To close out the night of bookish fun, shop the titles and merchandise on display at Lovestruck Books.

Upasna Barath is a writer and performer who grew up in India and the U.S. She was a contributor to Rookie Mag and a Steppenwolf Theatre Literary Fellow. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
