About the Book
L.A.’s Legendary Restaurants is a visual history of iconic eateries that shaped Hollywood’s dining scene. From Musso & Frank and The Brown Derby in the 1920s to Spago Sunset in the ’80s, author George Geary brings these glamorous hotspots to life withvintage photos, menus, and over 100 classic recipes. Beyond upscale dining, the book also celebrates drive-ins, drugstores, nightclubs, and hotels—featuring tales of sundaes at C.C. Brown’s, meals at Clifton’s, and mai tais at Don the Beachcomber. Though many of these landmarks are gone, their legacy lives on through Geary’s vivid storytelling.

About the Caterers
All classic food items will be prepared by Spotted Hen, a boutique catering kitchen in Southern California. For the last 20 years they have stood for food that is seasonal, simply prepared, and beautiful. They shop the local farmers markets for the best fruits and veggies. They grow all of our own herbs and edible flowers for the final touch on their food. They have a small team that works with you from beginning to end of your event so you are taken care of every step of the way. Spotted Hen owner Terri Wahl, who has a passion for vintage cooking, will be using her personal collection of vintage cookbooks and tableware.
