About this Event
Participants will be shown a combination of techniques to then choose from in designing an image that supports Freedom from war in Myanmar.
Colours of the Burmese flag, simple stencils and prepared screens will all be on hand for this easy-to-follow workshop inspired by artist Kerrie Everett Horrocks's latest exhibition 1000 Days Later- In Search of Hnin Shwe Yin. Like some of Kerrie's Protest artworks, your artwork may consist of layers of text, colour and imagery to create your own design spreading words of peace and freedom for all.
Each workshop goer will have access to all necessary tools, materials and guidance to screen print their own reusable tote bag, with morning tea provided under the shade of the big Fig Tree.
