A Survivor's Story: Earl Davis and the Day That Changed Birmingham
On the morning of September 15, 1963, Earl Davis walked into the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, like any other Sunday. He was the Assistant Minister of Music for the 16th Street Baptist Church at the time of the bombing. By the afternoon, his life-- and the nation-- would be changed forever. He walked out a survivor. And through his story, we remember--- not just the tragedy, but the resilience of those who lived to tell it.
Come join us for an unforgettable event at Broward College-South Campus hosted by Dr. Robert Morris, SBSHS Faculty, where Earl Davis will share his incredible journey of survival and resilience. Hear firsthand about the day that forever changed Birmingham and how Earl's story of courage continues to inspire others. Don't miss this opportunity to listen to a true survivor's tale that will leave you feeling inspired and empowered.
