Artsakh is situated in Azerbaijan proper, about 170 miles west of Baku, her capitol. Territorial rights to Artsakh have been in dispute since the end of the First World War. In September 2023, faced with threats of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan, and struggling amid a nine-month long blockade, more than 100,000 ethnic Armenians, representing 99% of the remaining population of Artsakh, were expelled from Artsakh. This film is their story.
