The beginning of legendary Marlon Brando's film career. Also living there is brutish brother in-law Stanley Kowalski(wearing just a t-shirt, and even more scandalously, somtimes completely bare-chested!). With constant harassment from Stanley coming her way, Blanche is heading towards a complete mental breakdown.
Adapted from Tennesse William's acclaimed Southern Gothic play, it took home three Oscar's for acting, and is frequently listed as one of the greatest films of all time.
