Join New York Adventure Club for a spirited evening at Fort Hamilton Distillery as we explore the fascinating histories of early gin cocktails, from their British origins to their worldwide spread.
Led by cocktails expert and licensed New York tour guide James Hoffman, our immersive experience bringing together storytelling, tastings, and expertly crafted drinks will include:
- A deep dive into the early history of gin , including the infamous "Gin Craze" of 1700s England
-A presentation on the history of gin cocktails , including the evolution of classics like the Gimlet, Gin and Tonic, Pink Gin, and Gin Punch
- Two expertly crafted gin cocktails , with your choice of any of the varieties discussed during the talk
- A tast ing of homemade mixers such as lime cordial and oleo saccharum, prepared by your host
- A sample of traditionally prepared Pink Gin , with guidance on how to recreate this timeless cocktail at home
- A charcuterie board to complement your drinks throughout the evening
