Jewish music historian/bandleader Skip Heller, Los Duenos del Klezmer features cantorial trained vocal virtuoso Lena Marie Cardinale. A joyous celebration of great mid-century Yiddish entertainment such as it was in the Catskills. There are faithful nods to Mickey Katz, the Barry Sisters, Yiddishe mambo, and more, as well as plenty of pure, white hot klezmer, Latin rhythms and mid-century show music.
