A Song Circle with Steph Plant
Advertisement
Join Steph Plant in singing simple songs together that flow from the spirit and invite glow and creativity of expression.
We gather with intention to bring more warmth and connection amidst these most uncertain times.
May we sing. May we share. May we laugh. May we cry.
May we feel free to be just as we are and lift our voices as one.
Participants can expect heartfelt songs that invite play, depth and levity - no experience or confidence in singing necessary!
Steph will be playing guitar, Jules Fair will intone on crystal bowls and open the event with somatic exercise to open the throat and feel into expression. All are welcome
Join us on September 20, from 9:00 - 10:15 we will be gardening in the Empowered Spaces Community Garden, and then the song circle will begin at 10:15am.
In The Garden is a series of workshops centering individual and collective healing, wellbeing, and liberation.

This series is held in the Empowered Spaces Community Garden and explores integrative justice-driven approaches to embodiment, mental health, community empowerment, organic gardening and permaculture principles, and holistic healing and wellness - individually and collectively.
These workshops are free to our community garden co-op members (you can join our garden family any time throughout the growing season!), and donation based - pay what you can, if you can, to the larger community (non-garden members).
100% of all donations go to supporting the garden and our Collaborative Food Share Program.
The Empowered Spaces Community Garden is located at the heart of our holistic healing center. Our community-led garden is rooted in permaculture principles, perennial agriculture, environmental sustainability, and community care. We believe that food is medicine, that land stewardship is healing, and that everyone—regardless of income—deserves access to nutritious, high-quality food. Through our Collaborative Food Share Program we share the harvest with individuals and families in the community who are in need of access to quality food.
