In this precursor to Halloween, children from five to seventeen will make two spooky electronics and science projects.First, children will learn about parallel circuits before designing, constructing, and wiring their own fiber-optic flashlight--complete with color-changing LEDs. Then, they'll move on to slime... learning how slime is made chemically before making, coloring, and adding "bugs" to their own batch. These projects, while fun, are designed to teach complex STEM concepts that result in a fantastic take-home project.
Children will be provided with hands-on instruction, all of the materials needed to complete the projects, and even some candy in preparation for the holiday! No experience is necessary--just a willingness to learn!
