Join Delaware ChoralArts as we close out our 2024-25 “By Request” Season. Our spring concert will feature “A Silence Haunts Me” - Jake Runestad’s dramatic choral expression of Beethoven’s own reflections on legacy and his increasing deafness – and Thomas LaVoy’s “The Dreams That Remain” - a moving setting of three poems by Sarojini Naidu. Two settings of “Veni Sancte Spiritus” (Robles, Lauridsen), two Hebrew love songs and works by Reginald Wright and Moses Hogan round out the evening’s presentation on the essence of life, love, and spirituality. The concert is at 7pm on on Saturday, May 17 at The Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew, 719 Shipley Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. It will be conducted by David Christopher and accompanied by Gabriel Benton. There is free parking adjacent to the church and across Orange St. In addition to GA tickets, we also have a live-stream ticket option for those unable to attend in person.
Delaware ChoralArts is honored to be a part of the Wilmington arts community. For more concert details and information on joining or supporting DCA, please visit our website at https://delawarechoralarts.org/
