About this Event

Come ready to read (or just watch) some weird short plays sight unseen for an audience of friends and strangers! Bad actors welcome. Inspired by Eugène Ionesco's The Bald Soprano and other absurdist plays of the 50s, Mills brings her ginormous collection of wild scripts across the country for people to read out loud together.

Jennifer Mills is a writer and producer for National Public Radio’s comedy news quiz Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me! and produces the award-winning podcast Everything is Alive which was named one of "The podcasts that defined the decade" by the AV club. She has worked on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and taught performance art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
