An Evening of Shibari Performances

Every year, Kinoko runs an event called Jyo-mon.
This year’s event runs for 3 days, with 50 performances, all celebrating Shibari and the Ichinawa school.
Shibari Perth is fortunate to have performers who will be attending Jyo-mon this year. As a result, we’re excited to offer you a unique opportunity to experience a preview of what Jyo-mon is all about.
Join us for an intimate evening of captivating performances featuring local Perth talent, as well as special guest performers from Brisbane, Nawa Musubi. These artists will showcase their passion, skill, and unique styles, giving you a glimpse into the beauty and intricacy of Shibari.
Whether you're new to Shibari or a seasoned admirer, this event offers a chance to experience a range of performances, each reflecting the individual performers' personal interpretations of Shibari, highlighting the emotional depth and artistic expression that this beautiful art form allows.
If you can't make it to Japan we thought we would bring a taste of it to you.
The night will be a relaxed, social gathering, with some time after to mingle and chat.
Doors open for check-in is at 7:00 pm and the evening concluding by 10:30 pm.
Please be on time as the doors will close at 7:20 pm sharp.
The show will start at:7:30pm
And the evening will finish at:10:30pm
There is seating available, and matted flooring for seating closer to the action. Please bring a cushion if you wish.
