Step into a glittering world of yuletide splendor as the Carson City Historical Society cordially presents A Royal Holiday Affair: Victorian Christmas Teas at the Foreman-Roberts House. This first annual holiday celebration promises an afternoon of grace and grandeur, where the elegance of the Victorian age comes alive in a setting of festive finery, exquisite refreshments, and refined companionship.The Society’s Carriage House will be lavishly transformed into a sumptuous 19th-century tearoom, bedecked with evergreens, ribbons, and all the seasonal trimmings fit for royalty. Guests will be treated to an afternoon of delicate sandwiches, dainty confections, and fragrant teas served in fine china, accompanied by a sparkling glass of champagne to toast the season in proper high style. Her Majesty Queen Victoria will preside over the gathering with regal wit and charm, welcoming guests to her table for a most distinguished holiday fête.
As a crowning delight, the world-renowned “Swedish Nightingale,” Jenny Lind, will grace the occasion with two of the Queen’s favorite arias—her voice filling the tearoom with the soaring melodies of the season. The affair promises a feast for the senses, blending music, merriment, and the warm glow of Christmas tradition.

• Saturday, December 13 – Holiday Tea for Esteemed Guests, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
• Sunday, December 14 – Members’ Tea, 1:00–3:00 p.m., featuring the Society’s annual business meeting and the announcement of Board election results.
• Location: Foreman-Roberts House Museum Carriage House, 1207 N. Carson Street, Carson City.
• Tickets: $50 per person for distinguished guests and $40 for members. Seating is limited; reserve your place at CCHistorical.org.
