I’m excited to be hosting our first egg hunt and Spring feast! The Hunt: 12:30-1:30
Taking place in the back field, this will be a hunt of epic proportions! Don’t bother wearing your Sunday’s best, because we’re getting down and dirty. Prizes will be available for all ages!
The Feast: 2pm-4
Full of farm grown flavor, we’ll be welcoming Spring with food prepared by meee!
This event is intended to be a celebration of community, life of all varieties and stages, the glorious growing season, and most importantly… OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO HAVE A LITTLE FUN!!! 🥳
But seriously…I was raised in a family where we traded holidays. My mom, aunt, and extended family were so good to us youngsters, and I always imagined that honor would fall to me one day. This is not what I envisioned it looking like, but I think it’s even better. My family always made space for whoever I brought to the table, and that’s a tradition worth preserving.
Easter was always one of my favorites, I’m not sure why. Well, probably because I was older than my cousins, so I always found the most eggs (my aunt put quarters in them! 🤑)
Anyway, I am so excited to have the opportunity to grow veggies to share with folks and grateful for the support I have received.
Gosh darnnit, if that ain’t worth celebrating, I don’t know what is 🎉
