BLURB: A ROOM FULL OF MEGAN FOXES is a surreal exploration of vulnerability and voyeurism. Women attend group therapy and they, along with their therapist, face the pressures of unmasking the hard way.
PLAYWRIGHT: Helena Jordan is an actor, dog lover, and now a playwright. She primarily enjoys asking and answering philosophical questions like "Is this too many curse words for this scene?" She especially loves finding new creative outlets that allow her to keep the Thoughts at bay.
PLAYWRIGHT DEVELOPMENT MENTOR: Harrison Young (he/him) is the Tennessee Regional Rep for the Dramatists Guild of America. As a Theatre graduate from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Improvisation alum from the Peoples Improv Theater-NYC, he has performed in many comedies and new works which taught him how to write his own comedies. During the pandemic, he was the Literary Manager for the Tennessee Stage Company as they converted their annual New Play Festival to an online format. His most recent plays in town include productions of ANOTHER LETTER (Silver Stage Players) and THE FESTIVAL (Tennessee Stage Company’s Night of Shorts) as well as table readings for TWO BAD DAYS (Next Rung Productions, Tennessee Stage Company). He currently interviews dramatists for his Blank News column THE WRITER'S WAY. He started Next Rung Productions in 2019 and mentored his first playwright through this program in 2020 (www.nextrungpro.com).
