This is meant to be a taster programme, to invite peer support leaders and educators to come and join us, in making friendship less complex.
About this Event

There are quite a few things mentioned in the news, about youth and mental health, youth and physical health, and youth and isolation. And the interesting contradiction to this, is that, with the invent and advancement of technology, we are meant to become more socially connected, more involved, more engaged. And then, why are the results and outcomes seemingly telling a different story? Especially amongst our youths, who are digital natives.

So perhaps, what Simon Sinek shared in an hour long podcast is true : that we don't know -

how to make friends
how to be friends
how to take care of ourselves and our friendships
how to navigate through tensions & conflicts in these friendships/relationships

If you prefer a more practical approach, join us for the upcoming sessions, specifically tailored for peer support leaders and educators, to address this challenge amongst youths, to be able to learn how to make friends, how to be friends, to navigate through the fine lines and challenge of such relationships.

We are doing exactly what Simon Sinek mentioned about, having a platform for us to learn the art and science, and the intricacies of such relationships. It will serve as a platform to train and equip peers and teachers/educators/counsellors, to support these youths.
