WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
This special, Victorian-themed event is an absolute must for Dickens fans, as narrator, Finlay Tyson, brings the story of scrooge – with its touching, timeless message of the power of kindness (and the ugliness of greed & selfishness) – to life.
Sit back, relax and enjoy this traditional, ghostly classic with family or friends in the stunning setting of the Great Nave, with time to enjoy and explore the Monastery’s heritage and special festive atmosphere before the reading.
WILL THERE BE AN INTERVAL?
Yes, Dickens’ tale will be narrated in two x 45-minute parts, with an interval in between to feast on mince pies and Christmas tipple.
