Hi, I'm Lewis and this is my business partner Anna.

For the past 5 years, we have been working together travelling to trade fairs both in the UK and abroad, as well as training people on how to effectively source products and sell them online.

So who is our event for and what's it about?


Our event is for newbie's i.e. start-up businesses, people looking to set up a side hustle selling physical products online, or wanting to white label and build their own brand with the full backing of established manufacturers and suppliers in place. Alternatively, you could be an established business owner who wants to gain experience in how to develop new product lines and ranges, by building new supplier relationships from within the UK and Europe.

Let's face it, post-pandemic, getting goods out of China is proving difficult and costly. So why not look at what the UK and Europe have to offer for suppliers and products. When I was fully immersed in importing products from China, I was still using suppliers from the NEC Autumn Fair. In fact, one of my biggest volume wholesalers was Best Direct for "As Seen On TV" products who I met in Birmingham.

I have been coming to the NEC Autumn fairs since 2012 in conjunction with other international shows. If you are new to trade fairs then they can be a daunting experience. Many newbie's, if not prepared, can end up wasting their time and money visiting them. It took me a couple of visits to really get to grips with the NEC Autumn fair in order to be able to get the most out of the show in terms of making it a profitable and worthwhile experience for my business.

Take it from a veteran trade fair attendee, there is a lot more going on than meets the eye, rocking up at one of them and trying to source products without a plan can be a waste of time and money. There are policies, practices and expectations exhibitors require you to meet, in order for them to even converse with you, let alone be able to get a wholesale price list out of them. There are key phrases, a business-like language you must use to get what you desire at these types of trade shows, and if you are a newbie they will be able to see you coming a mile off, quickly moving onto other prospects that seem more suitable for becoming a reseller of their products. There's also a logistical aspect to how you spend your time at these shows, to gain the best productivity out of the day. Otherwise, you'll find that you're like a rabbit in headlights not knowing what direction to go and becoming very quickly overwhelmed and fatigued!

Anna and I have worked together over the past 5 years to import and sell physical products online, we have held our own workshop days together, we have developed eCommerce training platforms, as well as mentoring and guiding students around trade fair shows both in the UK and China. I have personally been visiting trade fairs around the world since 2003 when I first went to the Canton Fair in China where I started out on my importing and product supplier journey, so there isn't much I don't know or haven't experienced in terms of getting the very best out of these types of shows.

Anna and I have witnessed in the past, eCommerce newbie's failing to make the most out of trade fairs, having had no structure or insight into them and more importantly knowledge on how to prepare for them.

So we have devised a program to combat this and turn you into experienced trade fair show "alphas" like ourselves, leveraging off the back of our combined experiences and expertise over the many years we have been attending them.

We will provide you with access to the premium short video series that has been developed over a number of years, which provides high-value guidance on how to find profitable hot-selling products online, whilst navigating the continuous changes we face in International eCommerce and global sourcing. This video training series will help you get your mind ready for being able to spot hot trending product lines at the Autumn Fair.

We'll have a private WhatsApp group for attendees to this event only. The purpose of this is so that we can all effectively communicate with one another, and so we can send you updates as part of this sourcing event. We find these types of groups especially helpful when we are at the actual trade fair, just in case you need help with a particular supplier or to reconvene as a group at a specific location. They also allow us to network with one another and share details of suppliers found as we often find our students sometimes like to team up together.

Before the actual trade fair meet-up, Anna and I will run a live webinar over Zoom, to get you set up and prepared for the actual day of the Autumn Fair meet-up. This will include things like talking you through the do's and don'ts for the registration process in order to get your attendee badge for the trade fair. As this in itself can be a make-or-break situation without you even knowing it, in being able to get the best outcome from the exhibitors! There will also be a live Q&A, and if you can't make the live webinar then it will all be recorded so that you can view it at a later date and not miss out on our vital information.

This will be accompanied by a preparation pack filled with resources to ensure you are trade show "alpha" ready.

The NEC Autumn Fair meet-up day. - We will meet up in the Hilton Hotel lobby for a morning briefing session and to give you our day's pre-scheduled agenda before splitting you all up into groups headed by either Anna or myself. We'll look at what product categories you are interested in so that we can effectively group you together. You can of course split off from any group at any time and people will naturally wander offer and do their own thing when talking with suppliers at the fair. This is why we have the WhatsApp group to keep a track of you all for you to be able to regroup when required.

In the day's agenda we will chaperone you to some pre-qualified suppliers/exhibitors to give you an overview at their stall of what they do and what they can offer. As well as trade fair show talks that we feel will be helpful to you in your businesses.

Then 5 days after the NEC Autumn Fair, we will have another live webinar session over Zoom as a plenary to the trade fair meet-up event. This will allow you to de-compress having taken in all your thoughts and experiences of the show, and give you the opportunity to pick our brains so to speak and ask questions.

This Zoom session will be accompanied by a "what now" activity plan for you to follow to get the most out of the supplier contacts you made at the show, thus you are not left wondering what next, "what now"!

As seen from the videos above there are many types of suppliers at the Autumn Fair, some of whom are good friends and contacts that both myself and Anna have used over the years in our own businesses. B-Stock Solutions is one of the suppliers who regularly exhibit at the Autumn Fair.

B-Stock is a global liquidation auction company, dealing in stock from the likes of Amazon, Costco, and Walmart to name a few.

Companies like these are a great source for finding profitable products to resell back onto online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay.

We can personally introduce you to these types of companies at the Autumn Fair.

Debit & Credit Cards accepted

This will then take you to the Eventbrite details payment page. Fill out your name and email address in the fields provided. Lewis Wade, BA (Hons) -

Lewis Wade has been successfully importing, branding and selling products from China, since 2003. He has received industry recognition for what he does and teaches; with keynote credits to his name by invitation only with eBay, and presenting his industry expertise in Hong Kong for the Chinese manufacturing and supplier portal, Global Sources.

Lewis started out Importing from China in his twenties, seeing a 300% return on his first investment, importing and selling mini moto bikes on eBay. Within just 6 months, this became one of the fastest-growing eBay stores on the marketplace.
