Indian printmaking typically involves traditional techniques like woodblock printing and modern methods such as lithography, which began to be established in India in the late 19th century. In the mid-20th century, Indian artists started using low cost, reproducible material such as linoleum sheets to create prints, because it exhibited graphic clarity many used it to reveal powerful political and social messages. This Lino cut method, is what you will get to explore.
Printmaking, you can be both creative and experimental.
Guided by Artist and printmaker, Akshay Bhat.
