Built in 1740, Hebron Lutheran Church is the oldest Lutheran church in America that has been in continuous use as a Lutheran church, and one of only four remaining wooden churches from colonial Virginia.Meet at the Historic Germanna Visitor Center (2062 Germanna Hwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508) to meet our Trolley. We will depart at 1:30 PM to Hebron Lutheran Church; on the way, enjoy a historic tour of the Germanna region through which we travel.
Upon arrival to the church around 2:15 PM, guests will have the opportunity to listen to a performance of German music on the church’s 1802 Tannenberg organ. Hebron Lutheran Church is delighted to welcome Daniel Grotz, candidate - Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
After the benefit concert, guests will have an opportunity to explore the 18th century chapel and mingle with other guests at an informal reception. Then, trolley will take you to the Bavarian Chef at 5:00 PM for a dinner featuring authentic German cuisine. After dinner, the trolley will return to the Historic Germanna Visitor Center by 7:30 PM.
Tickets for the full experience, including the trolley tour, concert, and dinner, are $100 per person.
A 15% discount is available for Historic Germanna Sustainers Circle Members!
Space is limited! The trolley is wheelchair-accessible (advance notice required).
