A Journey Through Italy: 6 wines to explore the Italian wine heritage from North to South
Join us for a journey through Italy's diverse wine regions, from the picturesque landscapes of the north to the sun-drenched vineyards of the south. We will welcome you in our cozy house, it will be an intimate group and we'll embark you on a tasting adventure featuring some of Italy's finest wines, each carefully selected to showcase the unique terroir and winemaking traditions of their respective regions. Some of the wines are also not easy to find in the UK, so it will be an extra-special treat.
2 sparkling wines:
- Classic Method 2018, Marin Falcone (Piedmont): elegance in a Traditional Method sparkling wine with at least 4 years of aging in Alta Langa.
- Biancavigna, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Rive di Ogliano Extra Brut 2022 (Veneto)
2 still white wines:
- Poderi Mattioli, Verdicchio di Jesi Classico Riserva Lauro 2019 (Marche)
- Rocca del Principe, Fiano di Avellino Tognano Riserva 2021 (Campania)
2 Red Wines:
- Poggio Landi, Brunello di Montalcino, Riserva 2016 (Tuscany)
- Mirafiore, Barolo Paiagallo, 2015 (Piedmont)
All tastings include: minimum of 6 wines, tasting sheet, the use of professional tasting glasses, Italian charcuterie, and a cheeseboard to pair the wine choices.
