Bio of Facilitator - Richard J. Martinez (he/him)
Richard J. Martinez is the founder and creative force behind The Playful Stage, a community dedicated to exploring the transformative power of improvisation. An award-winning actor and improviser, Richard has been teaching improv for over a decade, bringing his passion for play and creativity to every workshop he leads.
Believing that improv is more than just an art form, Richard sees it as a tool for personal growth, connection, and empowerment. His supportive and inclusive teaching style inspires participants to take bold risks, embrace collaboration, and discover new facets of themselves. Whether onstage or in the classroom, Richard is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can unlock their creativity, find joy in spontaneity, and connect with others in meaningful ways.
Location instructions
- If you've never been to our center before, there are 2 buildings on the property. We will be meeting in the sanctuary. Your GPS may take you to the church offices, walk across the small parking lot and enter the sanctuary through the glass doors.
