About this Event

Join us for a playful, family-friendly Christmas Eve service filled with laughter, celebration, and the bold spirit of hope. Together, we’ll explore the story of the first Christmas in Palestine and discover how joy becomes an act of radical resistance in the face of empire and oppression.

Through music, storytelling, and creative activities, we’ll celebrate the conditions that nurture life, hope, and resilience—just as the Jesse tree grows and thrives in the soil of the sacred story in Palestine. As we look to the challenges and possibilities of the months ahead, we’ll draw inspiration from the people of today’s Palestine, who show us what it means to live fully, resist boldly, and find light in even the darkest times.

Come ready to sing, laugh, reflect, and experience the power of joy that breaks chains, heals wounds, and makes way for the living. This welcoming service is perfect for people of all ages, from little ones to elders, as we celebrate the liberating gift of life and hope this Christmas Eve.

Together, let us resist the empire with joy and embrace the radical call to live abundantly.

Come in your pajamas or other festive wear.

Bring drums, bells, or percussion instruments if you like.

We’ll have cider and snacks starting as early at 2:45pm.
