About this Event
Join Haven for our first community picnic! This is a family friendly event hosted by Haven as an opportunity for families to meet one another and spend time with others also navigating life after loss. This is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, and siblings to connect and know that you are not alone in your grief journey.
What to Expect
Food: Catered Meal will be provided; please register so we have an accurate count.
Beverages: Haven will provide water, you are welcome to bring anything else you would like to drink - no glass or alcohol is allowed in the park.
Activities: There is a fishing pond, a splash pad, a playground, and a walking/biking path at the park. Bring your fishing pole, bike or scooter, and/or swimsuits, and come relax with your family while connecting and getting to know other bereaved families in our community.
Program: There will be a short presentation at or around 7pm.
Remembrance: Families will remember their children in Heaven with a special banner hanging on the pavilion. You are welcome to bring a framed photo of your child(ren) with you to the picnic to share.
