Maysa, known for her backing vocals in Stevie Wonder's "Jungle Fever" soundtrack, rose to fame with her sultry and soulful voice in Incognito's jazz/funk albums. Transitioning to a solo career, she established her record label, Blue Velvet Soul, to have more control over her music.
Her 14th studio album, "Music For Your Soul," is highly anticipated and features 19 songs. Despite advice to release multiple EPs, Maysa is determined to provide her fans with a complete album experience. She has already released three singles from the upcoming album, with "Whatever" climbing the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Maysa's vision for "Music For Your Soul" is to create an immersive musical experience that goes beyond being just a commodity. She released her album on March 31 and has received acclaim for her latest single, "I Don't Mind," which has maintained its top position on the UK Soul Charts for several weeks!
