WIM Canada Calgary and CIM Calgary present – a Path to Net Zero Emissions

Join the Calgary chapters of Woman in Mining (WIM) Canada and Canadian Insititue of Mining (CIM) for an engaging presentation and discussion with Amberly Dooley, Director of Policy at Pathways, about what oil sands mining companies in Alberta are doing to decrease green house gas emissions.

The Pathways Alliance is an organization created by Canadas’s largest oil sands producers to advance responsible development of the industry, including addressing the critical challenge of climate change. Learn about some of their most recent initiatives and join us for a discussion about best practices for green house gas management for your mining operations.


Speaker Bio

Amberly holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and is a professional engineer as well as a registered environmental professional. Prior to joining the Pathways Alliance, Amberly was with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) where she worked collaboratively with oil sands companies, government, and stakeholders to lead technical advocacy. Amberly also has extensive industry experience and has been involved in regulatory and environmental management for mining, oil sands and conventional oil and gas projects and operations. Through her broad engagement Amberly is driving new initiatives and approaches to collaboratively address the issues facing the energy industry in Alberta.
