A PANORAMA OF EUROPEAN COLORS
featuring Larry Loeber, Derek Sanchez, and Jenna Daum
Our program brings together four composers, including Tchaikovsky and Poulenc, whose music reflects the vibrant individuality of their homelands—Russia, France, Italy, and Germany. Across these diverse sound worlds, the piano, trumpet, and flute emerge as vivid storytellers, each instrument capturing the spirit of its nation, illuminating the rich palette of European style—each instrument a thread in a tapestry woven from humor, lyricism, passion, and dazzling virtuosity. Oh, and you just might hear a wee bit o’ Irish too. So please join us for another truly memorable afternoon enjoying the talents of these gifted artists.
