In times of hardship, the true strength of a community is revealed. The devastating wildfires in Altadena left Black families facing unimaginable loss but because of your generosity, they are receiving the support they need to rebuild, not just their homes, but their hope.
This Black History Month, we are reminded that our history is more than a celebration, it’s a call to action. The Micheaux Film Festival and Dr. Self Tape, two organizations rooted in uplifting creatives and expanding opportunities, are coming together for a powerful evening dedicated to honoring Black voices in cinema while standing in solidarity with those in need.
We invite you to our exclusive Black History Month Mixer Benefit, where visionary storytellers, community leaders, and philanthropists will unite to support Black and Brown families affected by the fires. This special evening is about more than raising funds, it’s about amplifying resilience, strengthening our creative community, and ensuring that when one of us is impacted, we all rise together.
