About this Event
The Graceful Bard is a Long Island native, specializing in the creation of lush improvised soundscapes and jams. During the pandemic, she left her full-time job and went all-in on her craft, re-inventing herself as a full-time musician on Twitch. Now, she is a Twitch Partner, Twitch Music Club Founder, and full-time composer, performing online regularly to large audiences from around the world.
Since the majority of her lyrical improvisations revolve around a virtual chat, she is still experimenting with using similar elements in a live format. There is a certain level of intimacy that comes with performing online, being able to respond to the audience in real time and have a conversation while making music. This is something that she wants to keep in her live shows, and performing at The Next Chapter feels like a perfect solution. Audience members will be encouraged to bring their favorite poetry to be turned into songs, and on the interim, Bard will build lush vocal/instrumental loops to soothe the mind and soul.
