Meet Mira Rai
Hey there! This is your chance to fill your cup with inspiration and make a difference in the lives of women in Nepal and Afghanistan. We will be watching two movies about women who are changing the norms of their cultures through trail running.
First, we will see a movie about the Free to Run organization in Afghanistan and learn what they are doing in the face of war and oppressive policies. Then, we will watch a movie about the life of Mira Rai, her journey from a small village in Nepal to becoming a Maoist child soldier, and then a world-class trail runner and National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Mira will be there to talk to us and answer questions afterward.
