Jesse Dean was born and raised in a green, rocky hollow near Winslow, in a house filled with pianos, guitars, banjos, and a tin roof perfect for rainy-day percussion. His musical talent is homegrown; he started playing piano and mandolin as a toddler and quickly became a one-man band, mastering strings, drums, keys, and vocals. Influenced by bluegrass, gospel, soul, blues, and rock, and guided by his musician father, C. B. Slick, Jesse's blues-rock originals feature soulful bass lines, powerful guitar riffs, and sultry jams. His music blends influence from Mark Knopfler, Gary Rossington, Bonnie Raitt, Warren Haynes, and Cake, creating edgy Southern songs with a mix of delta blues and electric southern rock.
