A musical journey through Billie Holiday´s music and life.A Night of Billie is a concert in the spirit of the 1930's with jazz legend Billie Holiday's most beloved songs accompanied with anecdotes from her exciting and dramatic life.
On stage we hear Mirella Pendolin interpret Holiday's songs, together with pianist Kalle Katz, Ulf Krokfors on bass and Thomas Törnroos on drums. We offer a full-evening concert where the interpretations of Billie Holiday's songs, their vulnerability and Billie's touching personal story, leave no one unmoved. During the evening, the audience will hear interpretations of songs such as Fine and mellow, Gloomy Sunday, God bless the child and many more.
