Jesse Sahbi is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa. Jesse Sahbi and his friend Peter One made twanging country music from slide guitar, peppy strumming, and yearning vocals in three languages. They played in front of large crowds, soccer stadiums, in front of heads of state and on national TV and radio. With just one song 'Our Garden Needs Its Flowers' they became a household name and the most sought after duo throughout west Africa.
Jesse Sahbi is also a political cartoonist.
Joining the night's musical journey is Emmanuel Nado of KALW Africa Mix fame spinning funky African beats for your dancing pleasure!
